She opened Ohio’s first Cheryl’s Cookies in 1981. By 1988, the gourmet cookie concept was taking off, the industry was (sugar) buzzing, and the company grew its offerings to include decadent brownies, cakes, pies and gifts. Today, Cheryl & Co is one of Ohio’s greatest retail success stories.
